Hello Lovelies!

This year, I turned 16!

My birthday was on Tuesday the 8th of October and I have hand-on-heart had the best birthday ever. I've celebrated it in different ways with all my family and friends and I feel so lucky to have them all in my life.

On Friday the 4th of October, I went out with my friends for my birthday... we went to Laser Quest. Oh my, it was such fun (Miranda reference anyone?) If you're considering going with your friends... do it! We had such a laugh. We went to Megazone in Leicester and it was just such a relaxed and fun way to celebrate my birthday. I love every single one of my friends so much, I'm incredibly lucky to have a group of friends who I feel so happy and comfortable around. It really was a good night.

From smiling, to piggy backs to all shooting eachother... mixed emotions hey!

On Saturday, I had plans with my Auntie Bec and Cousin Charley to go out for Afternoon Tea. This was a really cute idea for them to treat me as it was such a lovely afternoon out, a chance to catch up, eat cakes and of course drink tea... what more could you want? The food was yummy and it was nice to see Bec and Charley, as I don't see them all that often and love them sooooo very muchly!

On Sunday me and my mum went to a hotel/spa for the night. It was such a nice thing to do. I have a big family, full of brothers, which I really, really love having... but on the other hand it was lovely to have some quality time alone with my mum in the sauna, steam room, hot tub and pool. We had a meal and a few glasses of wine (cheeky) and some really good chats that I really needed and value. I feel like me and my mum are closer again now after a real good catch up and that makes me very happy because my mum is my absolute world. Her birthday is actually the day after mine (I was a good birthday present) so the getaway was a treat for both of us really.

Monday was back to school... yay. It wasn't too bad as I was soooo excited for my birthday. I get mega excited for birthdays and Christmas's. On my birthday morning, I woke up at 4am but mum said I couldn't wake her till six... so I got her and my stepdad up at 06:01 and went to open my LOVELY LOVELY presents which i am sooooooooo grateful for... Then I went to school. My friends bought me some amazing presents and I wore a "super sweet sixteen princess" sash all day with with a "birthday girl" and a "bang tidy" badge along with a "sweet sixteen" tiara. I looked like a tit, but at least I was happy.

After school, I got ready to go out for the evening with (I thought) was just going to be my immediate family and my boyfriend... but no... it was literally my whole family! Around 40 members of my family all in one room. I've never been so overwhelmed and happy. I felt so lucky to have such a fabulous family who all love me so much. I honestly had one of the best nights of my life. Here's just a few pictures of my special night :-)
